I’m 38 years old, I have three children and I live on the Isle of Man. I grew up in the village of Cullercoats in the North East of England. For many years I lived in Horncastle, Lincolnshire and worked at the University of Lincoln Library, where I managed and developed many of the University’s electronic library services. I’m interested in family history, marine biology, live music and cycling.
Hello Paul
I was amazed to come across your excellent write up on the Black family! I am a granddaughter of Fred Black (born August 17 1899) and I was born on August 17 1965 in Singapore.
I have not known any of these details.
My maternal grandmother was Violet G Black and there is a family mystery concerning a child she had in 1917, before she married Fred Black.
I would be very pleased if you could contact me.
