A note on technical development:
We’re beginning to make some progress towards a framework for development in the CLOCK project. Project developers Trevor Jones and Andrew Beeken, with the support of the other developers in LNCD, now have the following at their fingertips:
- Development server, running on Rackspace for the time being, and publicly accessible at jerome.library.lincoln.ac.uk (recycling the domain used for the Jerome project, one of CLOCK’s predecessors).
- Github repository for the project
- Project in Jenkins, our continuous integration server
- Project in Pivotal Tracker for managing iterative development tasks
- Chatroom in Campfirenow for near-synchronous discussion
- Google Groups for email exchanges
That list should give you an idea of LNCD’s approach to development. [N.B. some links may not be publicly accessible.]
